Notice to Citizens of Watonga Regarding Use of Parks
October 13, 2020
Watonga Parks are currently open to the public. The Parks Department requests that citizens follow State of Oklahoma recommendations when using public spaces.
The Splash Pad at Huff-Lorang Park closed after Labor Day.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends the following guidelines for use of public spaces to help the prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- Please continue to maintain social distancing—stay 6 feet apart
- Wash your hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap
- Stay home if you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19
- Limit gatherings to 10 people or less until guidelines are reevaluated by the State of Oklahoma
